I had a few hours free Saturday afternoon and decided to wade a small flow near home and see what I could catch. Water was colder than expected, but crystal clear. Managed to find a few deeper cuts and caught a fallfish and smallmouth bass on a curly tail grub. Had the place to myself. I might go back next summer with a fly rod and see what happens.
