Finally was able to get my new yak out on the water... Went to Myrtle Grove this morning. There were a lot of people bank fishing, but didn't look like they were having too much luck. Me on the other hand, I stopped counting the crappie after about 40. I didn't get any keepers, but most of them were about the size of the one in this pic.

I also put out some jug lines and caught 2 nice size bullheads. I was hoping for some channels, but oh well. Then I realized that I didn't get any pics of them until after they were filleted. Both were right at 14 inches...good for some fish nuggets tonight.
Oh and I got this guy on one of the jug lines.

All in all, I consider it a successful first outing.
