Time: Preferrably daybreak but that will depend on venues.
Venue choices:
Piscataway Creek - Ft. Washington off Indian Head HWY Good bass fishing and I caugt a 32 inch plus catfish there last year - off a Senko. High tide around 10 am, so starting at sunup would give us rising tide AND best time of day for cats - or bass.
Jug Bay on the Patuxent in PG county off Rt 4 - Super catfish waters but gate doesn't open until 8am. Reputedly, best time for catfishing in summer ends at 8.
Rocky Gorge - havent fished for cats there but can't be tougher than getting bass. Beautiful water. Gates open at Sunup
