I was at Alltackle today and saw some smaller jigheads with squid skirts and what looked like a bass assassin. Probably 3/8 or 1/2 oz. It looked very nice but just wondering what you guys thought about fishing a squid in an area where squid don't reside (tributaries of the bay).
Following that line of thinking, I was killing small specs on a Savage Gear shrimp in Crisfield a couple years ago (and big ones in FL in March) but couldn't get a nibble on the Severn the other night. Bad night or wrong lure?
