  • Fishing Gear MKF Order (Rods, Reels, Lures, Line basically anything you can think of)

So Rod 'N' Reel in Chesapeake Beach, MD (My former employer) has offered the group a special opportunity.

They will be offering 20% off of retail prices for all items from Big Rock Sports (Their Wholesaler). Also, certain items may receive a little more discount (for example items that retail over $200).

I will be bringing the catalog to the M&G this January 14th. I would like to have the order place by the end of the month.

If you have any questions please contact me. Also, if there is something you want me to check to see if it is in the catalog I'm just a post away.

I can't make the M&G, but I'm interested in a Abu Garcia Revo Inshore. What would the price be on that?

The wholesale price for reels is a lot closer to retail prices compared to rods, so in this case the price would come to $183.99 with the 20% off. The Wholesale price is $150, so probably not gonna find it any cheaper anywhere.

        Matt -

I looked on their website to find the master catalog you mentioned. I could not find it there. Do you know where it might be available online? I would be more likely to place an order on Jan 14 if I knew in advance what the price would be, and if I can do as well or better through other vendors.

For example, I bought several Shimano Stradic 1000 reels during the last year from different online vendors. Their prices were way below retail, but it took a lot of searching to find the best deals.

Matt, how do we get the products? Are they shipped to us? Any idea of shipping costs? Or do you receive the orders and we meet you someplace to pick up the products?

I was just mentioning the company, you won't be able to access the online catalog unless your a dealer. But whatever item you may be interested just let me know and I can tell you the cost listed in the catalog. I not gonna take anyones order without 1st them knowing the price. For example: the Stradics range in retail from 159.99-199.99, so the prices offered would be 127.99-159.99.

The products will be shipped to Rod "N' Reel in Chesapeake Beach. There shouldn't be shipping cost, just tax on the final price after 20% off. You will be able to pick them up from the store or I may be able to meet some people as well.

Just went through the catalog and didn't see much to the likes of products for building, etc.

I did find molds, but they are only for types of sinkers not jigs.

The G series is not in the catalog I have as they are a new model from 2011. So they should be 2012 catalog.

I see they retail online for 159.99, so I would think the pirce would be the same in the catalog. 20% off= 127.99
