I had been following this story closely because I used to fish that area (from the bank) when I lived in suburban Philly. Obviously was hoping for a better outcome. The man seemed like he was an experienced kayak fisherman and that section of the river isn't particularly dangerous, so tough to speculate on what might have happened. As fishing season kicks into gear, just a reminder to be careful out there.
