A power outage caused by Sandy caused 25 million gallons of raw sewage to flow into the Little Patuxent River. Does anyone know exactly where this is?
Okay, I found it. The treatment plant is just downstream (east) from U.S. 1 maybe a half a mile or less, in Savage just before entering P.G. Co.
Let's hope that the water temp is cool enough not to cause algae blooms. Also, maybe all the fresh water still entering the Bay through the watershed will help to flush it out faster.
