Pt Lookout/St Jeromes Cr on Mon afternoon

I booked a place on a Capt Walleye Pete speckled trout charter for Tues May 21. I did not feel like making the long drive in the middle of the night to get to Buzz's Marina in Ridge by 6:00 am, so I booked a hotel room in Lexington Park. Since I need to be there on Mon night, I decided to bring along my kayak and fish in that area on Mon afternoon. I have fished before at the mouth of St Jeromes Creek by power boat but never before by kayak. I never fished at or near Pt Lookout.

I am looking for some suggestions on where to launch in the general area of Ridge or Pt Lookout, where to fish, and what species may be around now. Also, if any MKF members want to join me, you are welcome.
