Planned to go to Poquoson today but due to a last minute glitch in my plans I ended up going to Westmoreland State Park. Initially the bite was ssssloooooow and the water was full and I mean full of jellyfish so after an hour I decided to go home. After a little thinking I decided to troll for a little while longer since I had nothing better to do. That really paid off, I found like 10 different schools of bait fish and that was all it took to start a party. Blues and Rockfish everywhere, even a fat catfish took my gulp while I was rigging one of my rods. Don't know where he came from but it was fun catching it. Overall was good day of fishing.......Life is Great!
