IMPORTANT: Jungle Mission Trip in July

Dear Kayak Fishing Friends,
I have something exciting to tell you. This past semester, I have been attending Grace Life Church and have been in a season of taking bold steps of faith with God. As my undergraduate career at the University of Maryland comes to a close, I've been challenged to take a step of faith with God in a big way: by going on a mission trip to Peru less than 5 weeks away! I desire to know God deeper, and I am confident that this mission trip will provide me with an incredible opportunity to experience God in a real, tangible way.
My team and I are being commissioned to be the hands, feet, and voice for God in Peru for ten days in early July (approximately July 04-13). With expectant hearts, we look forward to seeing what God can do with us - a group of individuals who are eager to follow God, to know Him more intimately, and to make disciples of all nations (Mt. 28:19). We will spend the majority of our time reaching people in the impoverished areas of Iquitos. We look forward to bringing smiles to children in orphanages and comfort to the sick in hospitals. We desire to bring a message of hope and light to Peruvians through door-to-door outreaches, food and clothing distributions, an on-going development of a well project, and street evangelism - all of which are opportunities for us to love and spend time with people, pray for their specific needs, and share the message of Christ. God has invited me to join Him in His work at Peru, and I would like to extend this invitation to you. Would you join me in this incredible adventure and take a step of faith with me to impact the lives and perhaps, eternities, of so many people in Peru?
There are a couple of ways you can support me. The first way is to support me in prayer in the weeks leading up to and during the trip. I can send you specific prayer requests prior to leaving for Peru, and during my time in Peru, you will be sent prayer and ministry updates. The second way is to support me financially. I will need to raise $2525 prior to leaving for the trip. I have placed my complete trust in Him to provide and to raise that much money in such a short amount of time. Any financial contribution you send is helpful and greatly appreciated. Your donation will cover expenses such as transportation, food, shelter, and ministry needs including feeding hundreds of families living in poverty.
If you would like to make a donation, there are two ways to do so.
1) Mail check to: PO BOX 50118, Baltimore, MD 21211. Please make any check payable to Grace Life Church with "Steve Kim - Missions" on the memo. I will need to email you a slip that I ask you to fill out and include with your donation (please PM or reply to this thread your email address).
2) PayPal to make electronic donations: https://www.paypal.com/cgi-bin/websc...=SBH33U5AUC6K2 . (Please copy the link and paste it to your web address bar) Please click on "Name of person you are supporting" and type "Steve Kim" in the box.
