I have off tomorrow, and was thinking of getting on the water bright and early to troll for some bluefish. I wanted to try someplace new and give trolling a go (I've never really trolled either).
Has anyone been fishing the South River recently? I was gonna launch out of Homeport Farm Park, and troll down Church Creek and down through the South River for a bit, but wanted to know if the bluefish were in yet. I figured I'd ask, since I've never really trolled before, and I wanted to know if my inevitable skunk would be a function of technique/experience, or lack of fish.
Oh, and anyone else that wants to come along - I would welcome the company.
