Pickerel from a Severn trib.

I didn't take part in the M&G yesterday, but I did fish a Severn creek for pickerel. Fished from noon till dark on Wednesday landing 11 fish to 18.75". Returned to the same area Saturday at noon and landed 23 more up to 19.5". All fish both days were caught on rapala x-rap suspending jerkbait in sizes 8 and 10. Fished in 2 - 5' with a stop and jerk retrieve. Saw a lot of missed hits and lost several more. Looks like last year's ice and lack of fishing pressure made for a lot of fish this year. Hope the good fishing continues.
