Despite the rain forecast I decided to get out for a few hours since I hadn't been on the water in over a month. I was on the water by 11:30 and conditions were pleasant, the weather kept most of the boat traffic down too(bonus). After about an hour of trolling came across some fish in 20-30 feet of water. Managed 3 fish in 30 minutes, all short, the biggest 18 1/2". After that not even a nibble. I came across some nice marks in another spot and tried trolling and jigging with everything I had in the tackle box to no avail. I intended to stay out for more of the incoming tide, but the heavy rain rolled in about 4:30 and I called it a day.
