Fished the point and about one hundred yards up stream from the launch early today during a strong outgoing tide. As the tidal flow eased I managed only small white perch, one small yellow and several bluegill using a float and fly as on the Shawn Kimbro you tube video. First time I tried that method. Used a variety of 1/32 ounce shad darts tipped with felt saturated with anise concentrate. It out fished the minnows and worms the others were using... Slow day on the water.
