My Saturday trip had some great clients from many years. Lou and his brother George cast there arms off to several willing snakeheads and although they did not land one the strikes where vicious and quick. One big one was so worked up it hit three times. That normally is not the case with snakeheads. But alas we ended up skunked. Those pesky LGMouth do not like the cold water much and stayed out of the pads.

Saturday I had a couple of new snakehead fisherman that could cast well and managed a few encounters with the snakehead. One big follow and another hit that was missed. No largemouth hits so we ended the evening in a skunk.

Sunday I had a long time couple on board and we had plenty of water to fish way back in. 4 missed hits one fish almost landed as it pulled the hook right by the boat. Another did the Marlin jump about 6 feet. In the end a skunk was once again the word of the day.

This was John's second weekend in a row. He had one hit last week in a cold, muddy water condition. This week had a little better water conditions. John and his son Mike had a total of five great blow ups and one fish in the boat. Great casters tonight.
