Launched the Tandem Island with my daughter on Sunday a little before noon out or Goodhands. Raised the sail, but there wasn't much wind so we did a lot of pedaling too. Headed south from the launch, circled Parsons Island, and returned with little to show for it. Caught three small stripers trolling in the shallows. We saw lots of bait in deeper water, but no predators. Threw topwater baits at dusk without a single hit. Despite the slow day, I had a great time with my daughter on the water teaching her to sail and watching the bald eagles successfully catch fish where we could not.
