Got out with Wifey and some friends for a combination sightseeing/fishing paddle. Expected to catch some white perch, but ended up catching my first tidal largemouth - a pleasant surprise. Measured at 17", probably over a poiund I would guess. Sorry for the picture quality, taken by a friend. I have never really targeted largemouth, although every year I buy more gear to do it...so this is definitely my PB largemouth.
By the way, notice that is has that unique black blotching on its dorsal fin. I have seen pics and videos of bass like this but have never caught one. Very strong fight, and did a nice tail walk when I brought it to the side of the boat.
