Magothy River Saturday Sept 5

Got on the river near my house at 7 with the intent on searching for chain pickeral in one of the coves near me. No luck with the CP but I saw some minnows acting up between two docks. Threw a rattletrap over them and landed this 21” rock. 8 feet of water, water temp was 80 degrees. Caught a few nice size perch and was back on land at 9:30 am. Lots of birds working the opposite side of river, but I didn’t pedal over since I already had a fish.
