Crabbing, any suggestioins on locations?

I used to take the kids crabbing when they were little. My 25 year old daughter wants to go chicken necking again, and we both would like to actually catch enough crabs for a family crab feast.

She's in Baltimore and I am in Silver Spring but I was thinking about the pier at Matapeake. If not that, then launching a canoe somewhere where we'd have a good chance at getting a least a dozen or two keepers. Any ideas? Feel free to pm me if you prefer. Thanks, Steve
