I was out Saturday on a beautiful 60 degree day. Only trouble was the water temp. Still around 42. Nothing happening in 42 degree water. I peddled out under the St. Georges bridge and into the Potomac. It was OK until the wind came up, so I moved back into the creek. I didn't expect much so wasn't disappointed. I jigged some different color doa's sprayed with garlic. When that doesn't work . .. well, you know. I did take some video with the GoPro I got for Christmas. I was really surprised at the quality of of the picture. The river and creek were empty cept for me and one other oyster boat. With the water temp so low at this time of year, me thinks the rock spawn will be a little late this year. Same goes for trout return on the ES.
