Launched about 10 and fished until 1:30. Threw top water frog, tiny torpedo and jig head with craw into the lily pads but got no takers. Saw a lot of movement. Headed out to the channel and got one smallish shad and a nice hookup that spit the hook right under the kayak, not sure if it was a cat or striper but it pulled pretty hard. Those were both on a wounded rat-l-trap.
