  • Many Togs, but a few keepers, CBBT, Apr 2, 2022

I fished for tautog in high waves at Chesapeake Bay Bridge Tunnel, VA. It was 10-12 knot wind but the N wind caused unusual high wave for the speed of the wind. I couldn't effectively fish in the morning. Once the wind came down, in the afternoon, I caught about 18 tautog. Only two were keepers over 16 inches. I was fine when fishing on cold days when the air temp was in 10-12 F. But, I was freezing that day.

I was so tired to fish rudee when I came back to the beach. So, I fished Rudee yesterday, April 7 (Thursday). I caught a lot of specks and Puppies. Rudee report will be posted tomorrow.

    Thanks
