Went out this past weekend with PhillyJoe in the hopes of landing some quality spades and sheepsheads, but Mother Nature had other plans for our primary target. The winds at the CBBT were gusting at 25-30 nullifying any chance to fish out in the open water safely.
Plan B - chasing large speckled trout in sheltered waters. Unfortunately, the winds and current were a bit too strong for the speck bite to really turn on during the course of the day based upon my past experience. Fortunately, Joe and I were able to find some willing reds to make the blustery day enjoyable.
Plan B - Spotted Tails In the Grass
Hope you enjoy the tale......
