9 degrees this am in Annapolis, and I am planning a trip to Chesapeake/Elizabeth River when I next see a forecast for temps there in the 40's. Eager to get down there and paddle and at least give myself a chance at a speckled trout!
I was hoping that an angler with local knowledge might send me some notes by PM, as to how to approach the hot ditch, parking, launch, et.al and maybe a cheap place to crash for a night?
It would be a pleasure to return the favor to a Va. Angler looking to fish up here, (when the water warms up!) Yesterday, I was tangling with 3/4 inch of ice on the Severn River tribes….
