Triadelphia 9/14/14

Spent most of the summer fishing the Chesapeake Bay for striped bass. Decided to take a break from the tidal treadmill on the calm waters of Triadelphia. Only caught two but one was a very nice smallmouth. What a fight! Rockfish are super strong but pound for pound smallmouth can hold their own.

Good question. Caught it on a crankbait. Maybe the other treble did that during the fight. He ran several times back and forth.
