So I've been hunting for a decent small water bass pond. I think exploring is an awesome part of kayak fishing. I was hoping the largemouth hatchery part would pay off. Alas, the hunt continues. Some guys on the pier had luck with live bait and bobbers. Not my style, but something I do enjoy. They seem to have only caught brim, perch and pickerel. I landed two picks myself. I fished from about 1pm to dusk.
