I plan to make 4, especially since one will be at Lake Marburg! Quite a few nice giveaways! Nice Winners check too. Just goes to show the EOY check will be nice!

First up will be lake guntersville for me in late March. Any body have any tips?

The few times i have fished that lake, it was during a nasty cold front, we caught them on the edges of grass in 4-6' using dropshot. Senkos under docks, flukes under docks, and flukes through this stump filled point. They wouldnt hit lizards but they would hit brushhogs at the time. That was a cool video.

Thanks man! Gonna be a heck of a time. I can't wait to see how the tournament circuit evolves over the coming years. Seems every day, more and more are being attracted to kayak fishing.

It is much more difficult for a kayak angler to be proficient on large bodies of water like guntersville. It is not like we can cover 100s of miles in a day to find fish....not saying we can't power fish, but with the tournaments getting bigger and with higher payouts, I won't be surprised if you need a bass boat just for the pre-fish!

Good luck at Guntersville! That sounds like a fun trip and great place to fish. Hopefully you get some good weather and the big girls are moving up shallow.

Id like to do the PA one...the MAKBF tourney there is the week before, or week after

I've never done much tournament fishing but it seems that two weekends in a row at Marburg could be fun. Might even try to do one or two MAKBF prior, if the funds/time allows. Looking forward to getting some tournament experience.
