Launched from browns bridge at 4:30pm and ended up with 14 bass. The largest was 4.2lb and I had one at least that big that broke my line (14lb floro). Same pattern...in the wood/laydowns and off steep drop offs. Seemed they were relating to the deeper water even if it was only 3-5 feet deeper. Ended up fishing a little with another snaggedline member who I ran into. It was a perfect night to be on the water!!!

You can park in the two lots near the playground at Scott's cove and paddle directly towards the Browns and 29 area if you're concerned about being gated in. It's a long paddle so be prepared with a flashlight for the return trip.
The parking lots at Scott's don't have gates.Olive Trophy 126 - Moored at Rocky Gorge Scott's Cove

I don't think there are any gates over at the Brown's Bridge put ins. The one on the Howard County side definitely does not have a gate. I've been known to be a little late paddling back in and I have never had a problem. I would not stay out there past dusk as that would be asking for an issue. If you are out past sunset make sure you have got a light.Dave
