Good day on the Patuxent

Had a good float today on the Patuxent. River was definately flowing more than usual. Caught quite a few 20" cats with a bunch of little ones too
Tried my new anchor trolley and new "dashboard" for my poles and Finder

Huh, I fish the ponds there all the time but have never launched into the river. I think it is a combo of 1) Never planning enough in advance to get the gate code and 2) being somewhat wary of the unpredictable current and obstructions in the river there. If you ever want company launching there let me know!

The codes just a phone call if it's changed. The current isn't too bad but I usually drive over a bridge and check it before loading up. The obstructions aren't too bad unless a big storm knocks in new trees
