yea, I tie "some" of my own jigs and I think I'm using too many tabs. The skirt is too thick.

I'm not real sure. The skirt I used is the rubber kind and it's 1" wide (I think it said it's about 40strands). and I cut about 5"-6" long so it can double up.

Ah got ya. Thanks! They must be a little different than the ones I got. Each one of those inch wide sections is a tab, but I think I dont get as many strands.
