SML still fun

I went to St Mary's Lake this morning (7/29) and had a fun day. Caught a 15" bass on top water, a nice sized pickerel and a couple of decent crappie. Still searching for that elusive giant fish that I know has to be in there, but I have definitely caught more 14-15" fish this year than I did last. Ended up with 8 or so bass in total, another smaller pickerel and more bass than I care to mention that threw the hook. Hopeful of good times to come if these fish keep growing.

You're fortunate to have such a productive fresh water site so close and you're making great use of it.

The best part is that during the week I usually have all 250 acres to myself in the mornings.

I went out this morning and managed a 16" bass. This is my biggest from SML and each trip I'm finding progressively bigger fish as I'm learning which drop offs tend to hold the fish.
