Well we launched out of Marysville on 26 Sept 2015. The prior day was less windy and the topwater bite was on, I made a nice limit within 2 hrs. However game day proved more difficult for me. I was only able to land one topwater bite in the morning after several swipes at my buzz bait. A super spook jr. white did the trick to get my first fish in the boat. After that the area I planned to concentrate in I could not get them to hit on the crank bait. I used the Stand'n Yabbie craw...a preferred confidence bait for me on the river to land my last fish.
