  • Another great day...

I finally got my oldest daughter out for her first kayak trip. I was fortunate enough to have a fellow Snaggedliner provide a Tarpon 100 for my daughters. It has been great. I was thinking of going to the Susky for white perch but changed my mind when I heard the generation schedule. I wanted to keep it safe and smooth for our first outing together. We put in at Broad Creek and she had a blast. We took ultralights with trout magnets but this trip was mainly about being on the water together. I managed a small catfish and two bluegills but we didn't have lines in the water often. If you want to get a teenage girl to talk to her dad just put her in a kayak. We had a great time and being together without electronic distractions was priceless for me. IMG_2645.JPG

Nice, dude. You've already landed a personal best that can't be matched.

Between my two daughters I think it will get plenty of use this season. They are hooked. Thanks again.
