drop shots

any of you use or prefer drop shots?

before the past year and a half living here, i was in San Diego CA for 19 straight years fishing very clear freshwater impoundments. Drop shot is the name of the game. by far my favorite way to trick large bass to bite. ill be moving to Phoenix in a few months when i retire and i will be using it once again as my go to technique there as well. all of my time here has been saltwater fishing so i can't attest to how well it works on lakes in these areas.

I always have a finesse rod with me, even from the bank. I use a drop shot a lot except when I cut the tag end to throw a wacky
