New PB Blue Cat

Skipped on stripers and went for cats today. Went to Fletcher's and it was sloooow. Didn't manage a single hit in my normal spots.

Paddled to a different area I thought I'd try and picked up a 25" right off the bat. Nothing else was hitting, and my GoPro died so I figured I'd pack and try another spot.

Well of course I had to get in that "one last cast" and wouldn't you know my new PB ended up on the other end of my line.

I was irritated my GoPro had died because the fight was awesome. I knew as soon as he went on his first run that he was 30"+. Fought super hard with lots of strong dives and runs. Biggest fish yet on my new boat. Ended up being 34"

That's a great catch! Congrats! How's the ultra treating you? I saw a 4.3 for sale around 980...was really thinking about it.

Oh I love the boat. Tracks amazing and can carry a ton of weight. But it weighs a lot and is tricky to transport.

Extremely happy with it

Im at work and unable to plug that into my computer. But it's right below chain bridge on the Potomac river. On google earth you'll see a little cove with a dock and a lot of row boats. That's it.

Yea mines actually small compared to what I've seen pulled out of there. 40"+ are not uncommon.
