Snuck out today for a few hours to take advantage of the beautiful weather. It was my second outing and was hoping to get my first bass of the year. I ended up with my first 7 and a few decent ones at that! They were eating a 3” white bass pro speed shad on a 1/8oz jig head and my home poured chartreuse swimbait rigged the same way.

Got on em again tonight. Only managed 4 in a couple hours but still got a decent one. I was also able to break in my new Lew’s combo; laser reel and a custom speed stick rod, I’ve never been happier with a combo before.
