  • Tuckahoe Pick

Went to Tuckahoe this morning for some pond action since my area is lacking much action. Got there about 9- air temp 51, water temp 59 with SE-10+. Worked the edges out of the wind for crappie, couple of hits, no catches. Near the end of the morning, I landed a nice 22” Pickerel on a 1/32 jig. Hooked it in the corner of the mouth. The left side had a large bloody area like a bite had been taken out of it. Couldn’t get a decent picture of that side.

Good job. Since the spring striper run in the Severn is not happening this year, our best bet is crossing the bridge to find some pond action.

Love those ES ponds...many to choose from and full of willing fish.
