    St Marys Lake

    Heading out tomorrow with a buddy of mine to look for some crappie. Any suggestions for fishing this lake. Got my arsenal of tube jigs and Bobby garland shad with slip bobbers. What’s the average depth of this lake? I read in the fishing report to target the stumps. Thanks for the info and tight lines

    The park is closed for the next 6 months. You’ll need to find somewhere else unfortunately. Closed yesterday.

        Took the wife for a “cabin fever” car trip yesterday, showed her most of my kayak launch locations...big county-wide posting On public launches and state parks with ramps saying closed until further notice, watermen only with commercial license

            It is open but... All Charles County Recreation sports practices and games, drop-in programs, activities, classes, and events have been cancelled until further notice.
            No organized sports practices or games are permitted at Charles County Parks locations or on Board of Education sports fields until further notice.
            Recreational fishing and boating are prohibited until the Governor lifts the executive Stay at Home Order or until the State of Emergency has ended.
            Kayaking and paddle boarding are a form of exercise and they are permitted under the Stay at Home Order. Guidance on social distancing and the prohibition on social gatherings must be strictly followed.

              Yea I saw that part. Said fishing is only allowed if you plan on keeping it to eat
