Just a hunch: The Perch are runnin!

Drove past Wayson's Corner today around 5:30, and the parking lot was so full that people were parking on the side of Rt. 4.....and that's a big lot/empty road area.

So either the perch are running, or everyone has spring fever on a 60 degree Monday.

Think I might throw the rod in the car for either lunchtime or after work this week.

To make this Kayak related....there is a very shallow car top ramp there. Cant launch a regular boat, but perfect for Yaks & Jonboats.

"The yellow perch are here! We caught over 50 yellow perch today in Mattawoman Creek. Some of the yellow perch had spawned already, so the run may not last much longer. We also caught some nice size largemouth bass, large white perch, channel catfish and black crappie. We'd say spring is coming on!"
