Also caught a bunch of fallfish, white perch, 1 yellow perch, 1 blue gill, and a smaller brown trout.

lol, I dont mind them, they pull pretty hard, but it is a little dissapointing when you're thinking trout and see fallfish...

Yup, the Patuxent near my home has way too many fallfish and not enough trout or smallies.

Yes, there are smallies in the Tux, but they are up river around and above the Savage Mill area.
Not in the tidal portion.

Yea, Savage Mill would be little ptux, plenty of smallies and rockbass too.

I have caught a few smallies in Savage Mills, only in one spot though. I have always heard they were in the patuxent but have never seen them until then.
