My success at Rocky Gorge has gone up after using these firetiger mepps spinners. I was able to get out Saturday morning and managed a crappie and bass under the powerlines before the bite died around 9AM.

Water clarity is about as bad as anywhere else in the reservoir right now. The whole reservoir has been pretty murky this year from the rain and water levels have been higher than normal for this time of year. The only somewhat clear water was in the back of Scott's Cove where the three feeder streams flow in. I tried rapala crankbaits, some soft plastic swimbaits and senkos as well but the only thing they would hit/could find was the mepps spinner.
