Spent the week on the north end of DCL near Wisp resort last week. It was a working vacation, so I only got in a few hours here and there. On Tuesday I managed a large mouth and a couple smallies from the dock. Made it out again Thursday but got skunked. Friday morning I picked up an 18" pickerel on top water - lots of fun, and a nice smallie. Friday night we headed back out at dusk and I picked up a FAT 14" smallie on top water. I'm not usually fishing for bass, so I'm sure I made plenty of mistakes, but it was a good time.
