T Rig and C Rig line preference?

Hey guys I'm trying to get a thread together to see what's the most used line for these rigs

Carolina Rig ... 30 lb pro braid main on a 17lb flourocarbon
Texas Rig .... 17lb fluorocarbon main like on a 14 lb mono leader

I know my preference differs from most just looking for others

I don;t know about others. I'm assuming you are bass fishing. I generally use braid whenever I fish soft plastics. In Spring or in cloudy water I T rig with bait tied directly to braid. In summer,or clear water, or for a C rig I add Flouro. I use about 5lb. less test than you indicate. Don't often have a problem with breaking off.
