I recently got out to the flats for a little trolling action on my kayak. I also helped my uncle launch his boat and fished awhile with him. We had some small Striper action and the Catfish were hungry. The water is still pretty chilly up there. The trip also gave me a good chance to try out my Tackle Webs Outback Set and I have a short write up about the storage they definitely provide. Really, Flatheads on the flats? Picture

Here's one I caught years ago off Lapidum. It was my old kayak, so at least 3-4 years ago...man time flies.DSCN0002.jpg
I'm not sure if it's a flathead or not....it's big. It was over 30" and I got a second just like it minutes later.

There are flatheads at the dam. Caught them and have watched others targeting them pull fish after fish out. I've heard live lining blue gills is the ticket.
