So I had a chance to hit the lake for an hour or so (bank fishing) but the fish are starting to get shallow. I do t know if this post will help anyone out, but I'd figure any information could help. Anyways, a lot of sunfish were grouped up in about 2-4ft of water and a few bass roaming the shallows as well running off sunfish and crappie. Fishing was slow for bass with only 1 hookup on a wacky worm (bass color) almost still on the bottom. They seemed to be very finicky and only swatting my lipless cranks but nothing enough to get a good hook set. Also if you fish shallow areas where some fish were bedding they where exploding on top of the beds. I hope to get back out again in the kayak so I can explore more water. Good luck to everyone.
