That was an ambitious white perch!

I wish its Severn cousins would likewise wake up.

Congrats on all of your catches.

Nice job. Did you hit Tridelphia? I didn't see anyone out there fishing except some powered boats.

Nice largemouth and that would be a PB Walleye, right? Congrats Tom!

That's a nice largemouth and walleye Tom. It seems like the walleye population at Triadelphia is going up?

Dave, I've caught a 24 inch walleye when shore fishing elsewhere, but yes that is the biggest walleye I've caught at Triadelphia and by kayak.

Perchy, yes there must be more in there or else this time of year they are more active. I'm fishing different locations and that might help some, but the fishery seems to be doing well for sure.

Heading to Mallows tomorrow for a chance at some snakeheads.

My daughter caught the very last walleye in Tridelphia today. It told us it was going to migrate upstream and out of the reservoir without eating as soon as Cowkid2 released it. Sorry y'all missed out on the action...

I'm going to release all the walleyes I catch, unless the fish is hooked deep or bleeding from the gills. I hope the walleyes continue to multiply and offer interesting fishing for years to come.

The walleye I caught yesterday attacked my jerk bait like a bass as I was casting along a rocky point.

What natural bait fish are in there? I've seen lots of minnows, but not sure what other forage fish there are?

You will see large schools of threadfin shad in both Rocky Gorge and Triadelphia. I've never figured out how to fish around the schools of shad. It's pretty neat to watch when the stripers attack a school at the surface.
