With all the good reports from Triadelphia had to give it a shot and took advantage of a beautiful day for my 1st trip there.
Got a late start and didnt hit the water till nearly 1 PM but fished till nearly dark. Gets dark there quick and loading up wasnt easy with no lights on the lot.
Didn't find the walleyes or any pike but only trolled for a short time and probably wasnt trolling the right lures anyway.
But did manage 10 large mouth and 2 small mouth bass tossing my go to bait (baby brush hog). My 1st smallies from a kayak and 1st ones caught in about 25 years. forgot just how good they fight.
Most of the bass were pretty small but the 2 largest were 16" & 18" and a 17" smallie.
My GF picked up some small perch on a spinner bait.
