Tridelphia: Full Moon - Friday the 13th

Heading to Tridelphia in the morning, as long as there's no lightning.

Forecast is calling for clouds, not sure what the weather will really do. Planning on being at the Greenbridge ramp around 7~7:30am.

Had a good day on the water today. Goody and I met up a little after 7am and fished until after 4pm. We each got a bunch of crappie; Goody took home a limit of nice ones, I managed to get about 10 big enough to keep and threw back a few little ones. We each got a bass. We were trying for walleye, I caught five...two keepers at 16" and 16 1/2", the other three were 12-14".

Going back tomorrow with Cowkid2, hoping for good luck then...I really want her to catch a big fish.

According to the owner's manual, pressing the "pages" button twice changes the active pane. I'll try it out on the water in a bit. Going to load the Jeep back up and head for Tridelphia with my daughter.

I didn't get any pictures of crappies. The biggest one I had was 13".

Most of the crappie were in the 9-10 inch range, had two a little over 11". We got one small walleye and two 12" crappie so far today. The wind pushed us off the main channel, so we're back in the big branch that goes back to the Greenbridge ramp on north side right now.

Ended up with two keeper Crappie, one 11 1/2" one 12 1/2", and one 22" catfish. Caught the catfish on the exact same spot as yesterday's walleye #4, and on a crank bait too. Cowkid2 caught one of the crappie, a smallmouth, and the only walleye of the day. We caught a bunch of white perch and bluegill also, my daughter decided she wanted to keep some of them for the table...so the biggest white perch and the 4 biggest bluegill got filleted as well.

It was a pretty slow day, but considering the wind; Success!

We got home less than an hour ago, and already ate today's catch for supper. Yummy!

Today? Where were you fishing, we put in at the Greenbrige ramp on the south side of the reservoir. We didn't get to fish the main channel very much, because the wind a little too much to fight. Going into the waves/wind would have water splashing over the nose and soaking my first mate...she wasn't a fan of sitting in a puddle.

Thanks for looking, I'll check the Dick's in Columbia...they only have stick n ball sports stuff there now, but I think the pad we've been talking about is for a stadium seat cushion, so they should have it.

I fished an orange spinner on one rod and a fire tiger crank bait on the other yesterday, and caught all but one fish on the fire tiger. Today we tied a fire tiger on each rod and went for broke...it worked for everything. I am officially a believer.
