Water clarity was good at the lower end also. We haven't had any significant heavy rain in a few weeks...frequent rain all last week, but nothing that measured up to flooding.
I fished the middle to top of the reservoir yesterday and it was stained.
Caught a couple of crappies and that was it. The wind was manageable, but not much fun. Lots of other boats and kayakers out. Nobody I talked to was catching much.
Amazing how the catching changed from one day to the next. Goody and I nailed the crappie Friday, and we couldn't hardly find them yesterday. I'm sure the wind had a lot to do with it. We fished three of the crappie holes yesterday that we found on Friday, and only got a a few white perch on those spots.
