Went to Triadelphia on Saturday with my wife, daughter, and daughter's boyfriend. The boyfriend had never caught a fish in his life and ended up with 6 crappies and 2 white perch. My wife had 3 crappies and lost a largemouth bass at the kayak. My daughter had 2 crappies and 2 white perch. I spent most of the time untangling their various knots and problems with their gear and hardly got any fishing in myself. Somehow they managed to tangle up all the gear something fierce. The funny thing is that the boyfriend is a lacrosse player and kept trying to hold the fishing rod with two hands far apart like on a lacrosse stick.
The hot lures were fire tiger Rapala jointed floating minnow and a BigNose spinner that I got at the flea market earlier this year.
I even caught a sunfish for a change.
